Threshold Multicultural Outreach

Threshold Multicultural Outreach provides support and empowerment if you have experienced threats, abuse and/or violence including sexual assault and historical sexual abuse.

Whether you decide to leave or remain with your partner or if you have specific longer terms goals, some of the ways Threshold Multicultural Outreach can help you and your children include:

  • translation services
  • financial aid
  • medical care
  • legal assistance (advocacy for child custody, family/criminal court)
  • court accompaniment
  • housing
  • immigration, sponsorship
  • exploration of appropriate education, training and employment services
  • parenting resources
  • registering children in school
  • counselling

Eligibility criteria

For women who have experienced, or are at risk of abuse, threats, or violence in an intimate relationship, or women who have experienced historical sexual abuse and sexual assault, looking for one-on-one support and guidance. Contact 604.572.5883.

Yes. Anyone can refer but screening is required prior to admission.
