Guildford Family Resource Program.

Who this program is for

Guildford Family Resource Program is a community neighborhood house that provides services for parents, caregivers and children 0 - 6 years from all cultures.

This program is part of OPTIONS' Family Places.

Program Objective

For parents and caregivers, our comfortable home environment allows for socializing, and a chance to share experiences, information and ideas.

For children, our play areas give opportunities to learn and share with peers in a safe and fun environment. We encourage free play and have structured play activities available throughout the day.

We offer drop-in to families and their children and hands-on parent/child activities.

We support families with young children with an intended outcome that improves the child's well being.

FEEDBACK ON OUR PROGRAM

  • It's a wonderful friendly place.

  • Good way to meet other parents and my child can play with other children.

  • A place to meet other mothers and to feel supported. Children develop social skills by being with other kids.

  • For my son he could see more kids and play more and for me I could see my friends and make more friends.

  • It's free so I can actually afford it.!

  • I am a happier parent with a happier child. I have new friends and when I can't stand to be stuck in the house one more minute I have somewhere to go with people that feel the same way.

  • I made new friends and its given me more down time something I wouldn't get at home, which means less stress.

  • It's helped me get involved in my community.
