Managing Anger Through Intelligent Compassion

Managing Anger Through Intelligent Compassion teaches effective strategies to better understand, regulate and respond constructively to feelings of anger.

Program delivery

Group sessions are available for men and women and run for 10 weeks. Topics covered include:

  • understanding and awareness of anger
  • the emotion-arousal cycle
  • self-talk
  • empathy
  • accountability
  • defenses
  • communication skills
  • forgiveness
  • compassion
  • resolving resentment

A certificate is awarded upon completion (based on attendance and participation).

Eligibility criteria

For men and women with children (ages 18 and under) who are looking for a support group to learn how to understand, regulate and respond constructively to feelings of anger, using effective strategies. 604.596.4321 ext 1152
