Growing Together Daycare provides high quality daycare and outreach support to expectant moms and moms (13-19 years old) with children (newborn to 3 years old) who would like to complete their high school education.
We operate out of Guildford Park Secondary School and provide service to young mothers who choose to enroll there. The program has three age-designated playrooms that are equipped with age-appropriate toys.
Solid food and diapers are provided, though you are asked to provide formula each day. The program is facilitated by caring, knowledgeable staff who are licensed in Early Childhood Education, First Aid and Food Safe. An Outreach Worker offers support to families attending the program.
A Public Health Nurse from the Fraser Health Authority visits twice per week to provide immunizations and answers to any health-related questions about motherhood and babies.
Please note: To have your daycare fees paid by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, you must apply for Child Care Subsidy. In most cases, there is no cost for you to attend.
